About Me

 Greetings, Earthlings.

I’m Marisa, outer space aficionado and recreational philosopher. In my free time, you’ll find me exploring Space City, USA. Right now I’m in between being a second semester junior trying to balance the workload with what I love and a first semester senior crossing things off my bucket list. Homemade apple pie is my secret weapon, and I’m always open to the challenge of perfecting a baking recipe. I speak English, Spanish, and Chinese, and I’ve just started learning a language of a different kind, Java. For the last three years, I’ve been working on an independent study project related to detection and identification methods for dark matter. Other than that, I have quite a few other unconventional interests — knitting, typography, and lighting design to name some.

For a while now I’ve wanted to write out the constellations in my head and share them with y’all. I’m so excited to blast off on this new adventure, and I can’t wait to get to know you. *
